HOW MUCH SPACE DO I NEED?
All castles on our site have the sizes listed.
We require a minimum of 2ft all around for access and to enable us to secure the inflatable safely, 4ft behind for the blower and a minimum of 5ft to the front.
CAN THE INFLATABLES BE USED OUTSIDE ?
During April - September inclusive, outside bookings are accepted subject to space and unobstructed area clear of debris.
ALL HIRES BETWEEN OCTOBER - MARCH ARE INDOOR ONLY!
Unfortunately we cannot secure Bouncy Castles to artificial grass or concrete.
WHAT ARE THE MAXIMUM USER NUMBERS AND WHAT AGE RANGE ARE THEY SUITABLE FOR?
All information regarding use can be found for each individual inflatable on the booking page.
HOW IS THE CASTLE SECURED
Outdoor hires will be staked into the ground on each anchor point provided by the Castle manufacturer.
All of our inflatables are manufactured in the UK and comply with the current regulations BSEN1469
Indoor hires will be weighted down with sandbags as per the manufacturer guidelines.
Under no circumstances should the blower/stakes/sand bags etc be touched or moved by anyone who is not employed by Glow 'n' Play.
DO YOU HAVE A REFERRAL PROGRAM?
Yes! Recommend a new customer to us and on completion of their event you will receive a voucher for £10 off for your next booking.
For all referrals the recommended customer will need to email info@glow-play.co.uk within 24hrs of booking to provide details of who they were referred by for the discount to be awarded.
WHAT POWER SUPPLY DO I NEED?
Most indoor venues will allow you to use their power supply however it is your responsibility as the hirer to check there are no restrictions preventing supply.
You will need a 3 pin plug socket (standard mains plug socket), all leads and electrical connections will need to be provided by Glow 'n' Play, we cannot accept use of personal extension leads or cables.
WHAT IF THE BLOWER STOPS WORKING?
In the unlikely event this should happen please contact us immediately and we will drop another one off. All of our equipment is fully compliant and checked before and after each use.
WHAT IF I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH GLOW 'N' PLAY?
We pride ourselves of excellent customer service by being upfront about terms of hire however if you are dissatisfied please get in contact with us as soon as possible so we can try to rectify your complaint straight away.
WHAT IF ITS RAINING OR WINDY?
Bouncy Castle hire is subject to weather.
Whilst we cannot set up whilst it is raining, most of our castles have sewn in rain covers so although the castle should not be used whilst its raining it can still be hired out and enjoyed between showers once the castle has been dried to avoid accidents and slips.
Under no circumstances can we hire outdoor events if the wind speed exceeds 24mph.
For peace of mind and your safety our company policy means we will not provide inflatables where the wind speed exceeds 18mph. The wind speed will be tested by our own Anemometer throughout the hire and if we deem your safety to be compromised the session may be ended early. In the event of bad weather the booking can be moved to a suitable indoor space or rearranged for a future date.
All of our electrical equipment is regularly PAT tested by a qualified engineer.
All inflatables are PIPA tested and can be checked for current certificates.
Fully insured for up to £5 million public liability, certificate available to view on request.
DBS certificate available to view on request for Glow 'n' Play representative.
All of our Operatives are RPII trained, certificate available to view on request

WILL I GET MY DEPOSIT BACK IF I CANCEL
In the unfortunate circumstance that you need to cancel we will work with you to ensure you do not lose your deposit. Subject to availability we will happily move your booking to an alternative date of your choice or if your cancellation cannot be helped and you cancel at least 7days before your original date we will refund your deposit.
CAN WE HIRE OUT CASTLES TO PUBLIC OPEN SPACES
Unfortunately most public open spaces do not allow Bouncy Castles on their land.
WHAT TIME WILL DROP OFF AND COLLECTION BE?
All our drop offs are between 9am until 12pm with collections starting from 4pm until 8pm, if you require a later collection a £35 overnight charge will be applicable.
If you need specific times we will do our best to work around your event however this will need to be requested at the time of booking.
Hall bookings where a hire window is in place will take priority as we will need to work within the hire window, however please allow extra time for set up and collection when booking your venue.
*on busier Summer days we may need to deliver earlier or collect later than the times specified above, this will be at the discretion of Glow ‘n’ Play as we work hard to fulfil all of our customer bookings.
We reserve the right to cancel any booking last minute in the event of adverse weather, inadequate set up area or failure to pay the balance prior to set up on the day.
It is the organisers responsibility to ensure there is adequate space for the inflatable and failure to do this will mean losing your booking deposit, if you are not sure please feel free to ask us for more information regarding required space.
Any cancellation by Glow 'n' Play relating to weather will mean the deposit paid can be used to rebook for a future date.
*Organiser = The person who has signed the Hire Agreement form and accepts responsibility for our equipment during the agreed times of hire.
